As an optional extra, we offer a full resin fill. Using the dust collected from your parquet floor mixed with a high toxin resin gel to fill all your gaps between your blocks making your floor one continuous piece. We can also remove any old concrete such as a fire place and extend your wood floor throughout sourcing the parquet from a locally sourced business. Cutting out a 2 blocks boarder and you would never know of a previous fire place.
Pine floor boards
These floor boards are also a beautiful feature to have in your home and we can restore them to keep the character within. Again as above, we can source timber and extend your floor to hide any previous fire place which has been removed. Any damaged boards can be replaced “like for like”. Any screws within your floor will be removed and replaced with clasp nails. Clasp nails are of a great feature as they are the original nails used to fix your boards.
Oak engineered flooring
This type flooring is of a modern design of wood flooring which are placed in modern properties. Every wood floor gets tired so let us at Ridgway Floor Sanding take care of it. February 7, 2020 Can’t recommend Sam enough, he was able to restore our parquet floor that had been hidden under laminate. Wasn’t a straightforward job as we had an area of missing blocks, a bow in the blocks and we wanted to extend the floor into a concreted area. Finish on the floor is amazing, Sam is incredibly tidy and communication from start to finish was spot on. He was even able to squeeze us in working into the weekend which we really appreciated to get the floor done so quickly. Many thanks for all your hard work Sam even through the heat!

September 12, 2020 - Sam did an excellent job revealing the character of my bedroom floorboards. The job only took a day and a half with sanding on the first day, then applying satin varnish the next. This has now dried and the satin sheen is just perfect; not glossy but really showing up the patina of the aged boards. Highly recommended.
